Junior FF Camp

Jr Firefighter Camp July 31st thru August 2nd.

Jr Firefighter Camp July 31st thru August 2nd.

Camp is Full at this time.

Fires can be dangerous, so it’s important to teach children how to prevent them and what to do in the event one occurs. The Junior Firefighter camp is intended to teach children between the ages of 5 and 8 about fire and life safety. These lessons are delivered through demonstrations of firefighting and rescue equipment, activities in our safety house, and interactive games such as fire hose drills. First aid is also introduced to the children. If your child loves firefighters or fire trucks (who doesn’t) then this 3 day camp may be an excellent activity for your child to participate in.

The camp is held at our Station #73 which is the District’s training center located at 24420 Lagrange Rd. Campers will receive a Jr. Firefighter tee-shirt. We ask that children do not wear sandles or flip-flops. Campers should also bring a water bottle each day, which can be refilled while at camp. The last day of camp concludes with a large water fight, so should bring a towel and they can wear bathing suits to camp that day.
