Station 71

Built in 1983, station 71 is where Engine 71 and Battalion 71 respond from. This station also houses several support pieces of equipment including Squad 73 and its boats, along with the Technical Rescue Team and equipment.
Station 71 is also the Administrative Headquarters of the District. This is where the Fire Prevention Bureau is Located. The Board of Trustee meetings are convened here.
The Pfaff Volunteer Fire Museum is also located on the grounds. This contains some antique apparatus and artifacts. Adjacent to the museum is a small memorial garden. The centerpiece of which is Arifact#I-0176b which is piece of a steel beam that was part of 1 World trade Center.
