On February 19, 2026, over 40 participants attended the first Your Voice Matters When Seconds Count

Community Engagement Workshop at Lincoln-Way East High School. The session introduced the community engagement process and provided an overview of the current state of the Frankfort Fire Protection District, presented by Fire Chief Paul Kinsella.

This workshop focused on the district’s financial outlook, including rising service demand, increasing costs, and how fire protection services are funded. Participants reviewed current challenges and explored funding and staffing options to maintain service levels and plan for the future.
