GRANT P., 75
Ocala - Mr. Grant P. McDougall, age
75, of Ocala, Florida died Thursday,
August 14, 2008 at Legacy House
Hospice. He was born in Dundee,
Scotland and moved to Ocala in 1998
from Frankfort, Illinois where he
had lived for 24 years. He worked as
a Computer Programmer and Analyst
for over (50) years with the Akzo
Corporation of Chicago, Illlinois.
He had served his country in the
U.S. Army during both the Korean
Conflict and the Viet Nam War. He
was Past Commander and Quartermaster
of the Blue Island V.F.W. of Blue
Island, Illinois and was a Volunteer
with the Frankfort, Illinois
Volunteer Fire Department. Locally
he was a member of N.A.P. Citizens
Patrol in Oak Run and also the
Marion County Sheriffs Citizens
Patrol. He was also a Volunteer with
C.E.R.T., Disaster Control. He was
also a member of the Ocala West
United Methodist Church. He is
survived by his loving and devoted
wife of 51 years, Glory O. McDougall
of Ocala, FL; his three daughters,
Jean and husband Clint Haynes of
Mason, Ohio; Laurie and husband
Robert Gasca of New Lenox, IL and
Barbara and husband Daniel Calibraro
of Mokena, IL; his son, John and
wife Jean Marie McDougall of
Cheyenne, WY and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the
Ocala West United Methodist Church
at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19,
2008. Interment will be at a later
date with Military Honors at Florida
National Cemetery. The family will
receive friends at ROBERTS FUNERAL
HOMES, Bruce Chapel West, 6241 S.W.
State Road 200, Ocala, Florida
34476, on Tuesday, August 19, 2008,
from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. The
family request donations in lieu of
flowers be made to Hospice of Marion
County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL.

choice in memory of Mr. Grant P.
McDougall.
